đź”” Enable Push Notifications by Browser

Follow the steps below to turn on website notifications in your preferred browser.

Google Chrome (Desktop)

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Go to the website you want to enable notifications for.
  3. Click the lock icon đź”’ next to the address bar.
  4. Select Site settings.
  5. Find Notifications → choose Allow.
  6. Close the settings tab. Notifications are now enabled.
Alternate method
  1. Open Settings in Chrome.
  2. Navigate to Privacy and security → Site settings → Notifications.
  3. Find your site under “Not allowed to send notifications” and change to Allow.

Mozilla Firefox (Desktop)

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Visit the website you want notifications from.
  3. Click the lock icon next to the address bar.
  4. Click the arrow → select More Information.
  5. Go to the Permissions tab.
  6. Find Send Notifications → check Allow.
Alternate method
  1. Type about:preferences#privacy in the address bar.
  2. Scroll to Permissions → click Settings… next to Notifications.
  3. Find your site → set to Allow.

Microsoft Edge (Desktop)

  1. Open Edge.
  2. Go to the desired website.
  3. Click the lock icon next to the URL.
  4. Select Permissions for this site.
  5. Find Notifications → set to Allow.
Alternate method
  1. Open Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Notifications.
  2. Ensure Ask before sending (recommended) is on.
  3. Under “Allow,” click Add and enter your website URL.

Safari (macOS)

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Go to Safari → Settings (or Preferences) → Websites tab.
  3. Select Notifications from the sidebar.
  4. Find the website → set to Allow.

If prompted on the site: When Safari asks to allow notifications, choose Allow.

Google Chrome (Android)

  1. Open Chrome on your phone.
  2. Go to the website.
  3. When prompted, tap Allow. If you missed the prompt, tap the lock icon next to the URL.
  4. Tap Permissions → Notifications → Allow.
Alternate method
  1. Open Chrome menu (⋮) → Settings → Site settings → Notifications.
  2. Turn Notifications on and ensure your site isn’t blocked.

Safari (iPhone / iPad — iOS 16.4+)

  1. Open the website in Safari.
  2. When prompted, tap Allow to enable notifications.
  3. Optional: Confirm in Settings → Notifications → Safari that notifications are allowed.

Note: Web push on iOS/iPadOS requires iOS/iPadOS 16.4 or later.

Opera (Desktop)

  1. Open Opera.
  2. Visit the website you want to receive notifications from.
  3. Click the lock icon in the address bar.
  4. Choose Site settings.
  5. Under Notifications, select Allow.

Tip: If notifications still don’t appear, ensure your device’s system notification settings allow alerts for the browser.
