I can see it now, drab cubicle walls for as far as the eye can see. Boring colors and closed off multi-person workstations. Never ending colorless nondescript cubicles for a mass of inmates, I say that because it resembles a prison more than an office. Placing workers together in workstations is en vogue today. In times past it was done out of necessity for space saving measures. Now however, open office workstations are selected for the benefits of placing co-workers together to increase production, promote collaboration and office comradery.
