Lecterns

A lectern is a tall, narrow reading desk with a slanted top, often used in churches, universities, and other formal settings for speakers to rest their notes or books on while addressing an audience. It typically has a stand or base to support it, and some lecterns even have adjustable height and slant for added comfort and convenience.

Lecterns come in a variety of styles and materials, from simple wooden lecterns to more elaborate lecterns made of metal, glass, or even stone. The design of a lectern can often reflect the style of the setting in which it is used. For example, a church lectern might be more ornate than a lectern used in a university classroom.
