Help me Select my New Gaming Desk
I have finally decided that I need to make a change around my home. My oldest daughter has grown up and is on the verge of moving out of my house. In about a month, I will have an empty room in my home with no one to occupy it. So, I am free to do with it as I will. I have considered many different options but I have landed on it being time to finally commit to a full game room! It was a difficult decision but a mature one. Now it is time for me to begin the process of getting everything in order to set up the new game room. I am going to be looking at gaming desks as the anchor of my new game room. I have a little time to figure out all the details of the entire room. So, will you help me decide on a gaming desk to help me build out from it as it will be where all the action happens? Let’s take a look at my options. Gaming DesksMy first option is a standard gaming desk. A rectangular shaped office furniture piece that will be set in the middle of the back wall. They have everything I need to setup my PC and monitors and get my game on. Of these models, there are many attractive options to choose from. I could see myself sitting at one of these binging the night away playing all sorts of games. What are your thoughts on these options? I will be sending this out across the Madison Liquidators social media platforms, feel free to comment which gaming desk that you think I should select. I will read all the comments and will probably engage with follow up comments because I want to get this right and have the best game room in town! So, all input will be accepted and appreciated. But if you know me, I love a good L shaped desk. It’s kind of my default setting when it comes to office furniture. So why not keep those same ideals and translate them to my new game room by selecting an L shaped gaming desk? The more I think about it, the more it makes sense to me. I am very much into the idea of having extra desk space because when I am gaming, I need a place for all sorts of things like my cell phone, my bottle of water, any snacks that I may happen to be enjoying, or any other number of items that I like to keep close. I think an L shaped gaming desk checks off all the boxes for a perfect game room. Let me show off some of my favorites and from there, I will take all feedback before I make a purchase of my new L shaped gaming desk for my game room around the middle on next month. I took a break from writing and really narrowed down what I am looking for with an L shaped gaming desk and have decided to select between two of them. Let’s take a closer look at each of them. Option #1- L Shaped Gaming Desk with LED LightsOne of the things I appreciate about both L shaped gaming desks that I have selected is that they both have an elevated monitor shelf. I think that maybe traditional office furniture needs to incorporate this design into a few of their options. Both are from the DesignLab Series from Office Star Products. One of the pros of this L shaped gaming desk is that elevated monitor shelf wraps the length of the desk so I am confident that I can fit a third monitor up on the return if I wanted for my streaming service while the two directly in front of me are dedicated to gaming. I like that idea a lot, especially considering anything over two monitors gives off a mad scientist vibe. Office Star Furniture really thought of everything on this L shaped gaming desk design. I love the cable management and the wireless charging pad/USB power charging hub. The headphone hook is a really nice touch too. The carbon fiber laminated desktop of this L shaped gaming desk is a really good look especially with the red accent. A tablet holder tray is perfect for all the accessories that comes with online gaming too. And of course, the LED’s are super cool as they will set the ambiance of the game room. Overall, this is an excellent L shaped gaming desk that is really hard to beat. Add in that manufacturer’s three year warranty and I’d say this is a very strong option for my L shaped gaming desk. Option #2- L Shaped Gaming Desk with LED LightsAnother awesome choice! This one’s design seems to provide a more dramatic focal point, which I do like but this is going to be my sanctum, no one is going to be allowed inside those walls to see it. So, the drama is all for me. The elevated monitor shelf doesn’t wrap around which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as my gaming monitors will fit on this shelf. This L shaped gaming desk also features a carbon fiber desktop and red accents. The cable management and grommets will keep the desktop organized too. The integrated storage shelf under the main desk is icing on the cake. Other than these options, this L shaped gaming desk shares the remainder of the features of the previous one, along with the warranty. So there are the two L shaped gaming desks that I am looking at for my game room. Like I said earlier, as this is being shared across social media, give me feedback on what you think I should select. I have about a month until I make my final decision so any insight would be appreciated. I am looking forward to building this new game room with an L shaped gaming desk at the core.
