Recently I was given the chance to select a new office chair for my home office. I am an employee of Madison Liquidators that works remotely from home. I spent a week in the office back in June and while there I had the opportunity to try out several office chairs to make an educated decision. After a week of trying out several different chairs, I made my selection; I chose the Via Seating Genie.

Being a heavier set guy, I knew that I would want a heavy duty office chair. Madison Liquidators has a great selection of office chairs especially heavy duty options. As I tried each option, I wanted to select the one that was the best fit for me. Most of the chairs that I tried would have been an excellent choice for the home office but the Via Seating Genie was the one that I kept coming back to.

The Via Seating Genie is a great chair, to me it is the best office chair I have ever sat in. One of those reasons is the amount of customization options that allows to truly make the chair yours. Starting with a base model that is a fantastic chair in its own right, I selected a larger shaped seat. Which was the biggest change that I made. Like I said being a bigger guy, I needed a little extra room to be comfortable in my “9-5” for forty hours a week.

A few other options completed the perfect chair for me. I chose my armrest with the eight way adjustments without upholstery, an arm width adjustment bracket, and an adjustable lumbar support for the back. Once all these parts came together, I had created “my chair.” The last part of the customization was the colors. I had used two different colored chairs in the office. The first was a white frame, with a back mesh back with a red seat cushion, it was very trendy in style. The other was a white frame with a blue mesh and seat. I chose a bit more modest colors to fit the color scheme of my home office, I went with black frame, black mesh and seat cushion. Once I did that, my chair was complete.

A few days later my chair arrived. It took me less than five minutes to assemble, and about five more minutes to adjust everything to the way I wanted it. Now I have an extremely comfortable office chair that I look forward to sitting in throughout the day. To be honest, it is such a good chair that I sit in it often after hours while I enjoy a gaming session. So whether for work or gaming, I highly recommend the Via Seating Genie as a heavy duty office chair.
